I noticed Blender had stereoscopy support, and I really miss the era of casual 3-D moviegoing. Annoying bit though!! Davinci Resolve's free version doesn't allow useage of their built-in stereoscopy tools. So, after some research, I figured out how to do it myself and tbh it wasn't too hard!
If you ever want to try it:
make sure your L and R shots are overlaid atop one another (pre colo grading!!)
remove all but the red channel on L
remove only the red channel on R
set R to an additive blend mode, such as "screen" or "linear dodge"
awe at your masterpiece
I had to get glasses of course, and they're not too expensive! I'm thinking about making my own tbh, it just seems like fun.
